Emmersion Learning raised $2.4M; QuotaPath raised $3.5M; Scytale raised $5: RightRice raised $5M

QuotaPath: QuotaPath is a growth enablement engine designed to fuel high-performing revenue organizations. QuotaPath has raised $3.5 million in funding from earlier investor ATX Seed Ventures. The company has now raised $5 million altogether. Read more

Scytale: Scytale wants to bring identity and access management to application-to-application activities. Scytale has raised $5 million in Series A funding led by earlier backer Bessemer Venture Partners. Other participants in the round include Bain Capital Ventures,TechOperators and Work-Bench. RightRice: RightRice provides a tasty rice grain that's made from vegetables. RightRice has raised $5.5 million in funding. Strand Equity led the round, with participation from Accel Foods and numerous individual investors, including Gary Vaynerchuk. Read more

Kuli Kuli: Kuli Kuli produces nutritional moringa products in the United States. Kuli Kuli has raised $5 million in Series B funding co-led by Griffith Foods and 1894 Capital, with participation from numerous others. Read more

Baseload Capital: Baseload Capital is a specialized investment entity investing in heat power. They work globally with the aim to give Heat Power Operators the financial tools to build and operate renewable heat power plants. Baseload Capital has raised $12.5 million from Breakthrough Energy Ventures, a fund that's backed by billionaires Bill Gates and Mike Bloomberg, among others. Read more

Jupiter: Jupiter provides data and analytics services to better predict and manage risks from weather and sea-level rise, storm intensification and rising temperatures caused by medium- to long-term climate change. Jupiter has raised $23 million in Series B funding. Energize Ventures led the round; other participants include Mitsui MS&AD, QBE, Nephila, SYSTEMIQ, and earlier backers Data Collective and Ignition Partners. Read more

Moka: Moka is a SaaS software that helps companies optimize their recruiting services and find the right talent for their business. Moka has raised $27 million in Series B funding. Hillhouse Capital led the round and was joined by Xianghe Capital, GSR Ventures and GGV Capital. Read more

Rippling: Rippling provides cloud-based employee management solutions, from HR (payroll, benefits, compliance) to IT (computers, software, security). Rippling has raised $30 million. Leading the round, says The Information: Kleiner Perkins. Read more

Voi Technology: VOI Technology owns, operates, and manages electric scooters for urban commuters in Stockholm. VOI Technology  has raised $30 million in Series A funding from Vostok New Ventures, Balderton Capital, LocalGlobe, Raine Ventures, Project A and Creandum. Read more

MacuLogix: MacuLogix is a pioneer in the early detection and tracking of age-related macular degeneration. MacuLogix has raised $38.7 million in Series D financing. The round was led by new investor Vivo Capital with participation from existing investors Fisk Ventures,Roche Venture Fund, Berwind Private Equity and Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pennsylvania. Luminary Media: Luminary Media is a media production company offering tourism, travel guides, and marketing content. Luminary Mediahas raised $60 million in new funding. Read more

Shift Technology: Shift Technology leverages the best of data science to automatically detect networks of fraudsters in insurance. Shift Technology  has raised $60 million in Series C funding. Bessemer Venture Partnersled the round and was joined by previous investors, including Accel, General Catalyst and Iris Capital. Read more
