Today's entrepreneur is Nir Leibovich, founder and CEO of GoCo, a software company that helps organizations streamline their HR operations.

Leibovich is the Founder and CEO of GoCo.io Inc based in Houston, TX on a mission to simplify and automate business operations and administrations for SMBs. His previous startup, Arpeggi Inc, a genetic data analytics company that he co-founded and served as CEO was acquired by Gene by Gene Ltd.

Before Arpeggi, Nir was at Zynga Inc where he spearheaded several key product initiatives and served on an executive board tasked to define emerging market opportunities and corporate product strategy. His arrival at Zynga came through the acquisition of MarketZero Inc, a gaming analytics company Nir co-founded in 2005 and sold to Zynga in 2011.

Additional previous ventures include a successful stock training & analytics platform with hundreds of thousands of members earning a highly respected weekly spot on CNBC, a portfolio of web commerce assets, and a Dallas, TX based restaurant. In his free time, Nir invests, advises and mentors startups, fulfilling his passion to harvest and empower the entrepreneur spirit. He is a devoted husband and father to two daughters.

GoCo recently raised a $7 million round of funding, bringing the company’s total funding to $12.5 million.

Why did you start your current company?
I felt the pain points of managing HR administration in previous companies and wanted to solve them.
 
What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?
No single playbook can be applied across ventures, each requires its own unique playbook. That keeps things both challenging and interesting, so enjoy the journey there.
 
What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?
Overlooking the importance of how delivering value to the customer, Ideas are just that, value is ultimately determined by the customer.
 
What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?
