Athenascope: Athenascope is a small startup aiming to tap computer vision intelligence to record, review and recap. Athenascope has raised $2.5 million in seed funding led by First Round Capital. Read more

Green Dot Bioplastics: Green Dot Bioplastics is a company which makes bioplastic and bio-composite pellets. Green Dot Bioplastics has raised $6.5 million in funding led by Fulcrum Global Capital, with participation from Open Prairie and Innovations in Motion. Read more

Recida Therapeutics: Recida Therapeutics is biopharma startup focused on developing treatments for serious antibiotic-resistant infections. Recida Therapeutics has raised $8.5 million in Series A funding led by Frazier Healthcare Partners. Read more

Castle: Castle enables online businesses of all sizes to detect and prevent user account fraud, a technology previously only available to banks and large financial institutions. Castle has raised $9.2 million in Series A round funding from Index Ventures, with participation from Y Combinator, First Round Capital, F-Prime Capital Partners, and numerous angel investors. Dixa: Dixa is customer service software that eliminates the chaos caused by using disconnected systems for an effortless customer experience. Dixa has raised $14 million in Series A funding led by Project A Ventures, with participation from early investor SEED Capital. Read more

Rebag: Rebag is an online luxury handbag authority that rethinks the role of luxury in the secondary market. Rebag has raised $25 million in Series C funding led by private equity firm Novator, with participation from existing investors General Catalyst and FJ Labs. The round brings Rebag’s total capital raised to date to $52 million. Read more

Oaknorth: OakNorth is Europe’s fastest-growing fintech by assets and valuation. OakNorth has raised $440 million in funding round from SoftBank’s Vision Fund and the Clermont Group. TechCrunch says it's the biggest funding round in a European fintech company yet. Read more
