BacklotCars: BacklotCars is an online marketplace for auto dealers. Through BacklotCars- auto dealers, auto finance, and rental car companies can transact without having to go to physical auctions. BacklotCars has raised $8 million in funding led by Origin Ventures, with participation from Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, Pritzker Group Venture Capital, KCRise Fund, Royal Street Ventures, and Chaifetz Group. Jaanuu: Jaanuu has reimagined the multi-billion dollar medical apparel market via the industry's first contemporary, Antimicrobial-finished products. Jaanuu has raised $15 million led by JMK Consumer Growth Partners. Read more

TechSee: TechSee builds smart visual platforms that enable service providers to interact with the customer via a live virtual channel. TechSee has raised $16 million in Series B funding led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from Planven Investments, OurCrowd, Comdata Group and Salesforce Ventures. Read more

Spring Discovery: A Palo Alto, CA-based machine learning-based drug discovery platform. Spring Discovery as raised $18 million in Series A funding co-led by General Catalyst and First Round. Read more

AppOnboard: AppOnboard is a next-gen platform that powers Full-Fidelity Demos, allowing users to instantly experience an app or game before downloading. AppOnboard has raised $15 million in funding led by Breakaway Growth, along with participation from Tiller Partners, Rainier Partners, and earlier investors. Read more

Quali: Quali is a provider of cloud sandboxes for automating the DevOps lifecycle. 
Quali has raised $22.5 million in Series C funding led by Jerusalem Venture Partners, with participation from Dell Ventures, Kreos Capital, Evergreen Ventures, Gemini Israel Ventures and ORR Partners. Read more

Drizly: Drizly is the technology company transforming the way alcohol is shopped, sold and shared online. Drizly has raised $34.5 million in in fresh funding, shows an SEC filing. Read more

Fresh Buddy: Meiri Yitao (Fresh Buddy) is a fresh produce social commerce platform backed by e-commerce firm MissFresh. Fresh Buddy has raised $100 million in Series B funding led by Genesis Capital, with participation from SIG China, DCM Ventures and Vision Plus Capital. Read more


InVision: InVision provides a design collaboration platform for startups, corporations and design agencies. InVision just closed on $115 million in Series F funding, bringing the company’s total funding to $350 million. Read more

Vroom: Vroom is an online direct car retailer that makes car-buying and selling fast and easy. Vroom has raised a whopping $146 million in Series G funding led by AutoNation, with participation from T. Rowe Price, L Catterton, General Catalyst and Fraser McCombs Capital. Read more

Plaid: Plaid provides companies the tools and access needed for the development of a digitally-enabled financial system. Plaid has raised $250 million in Series C funding led by Mary Meeker, who will join its board of directors as part of the deal. Read more

Face++: Face++ operates a face detection, recognition, and analysis platform for Websites, mobile applications, and smart televisions. Face++ is looking to raise $500 million at a $3.5 billion valuation led by Bank of China Group. Read more
