Enzyme raised $1.7M; ROAM raised $2.1M; Forethought raised $9M; Alto Pharmacy raised $50M

Enzyme: Enzyme is an intelligent recruiting platform that matches the best freelance doctors with innovative healthcare companies. We make it easier for doctors to find great jobs while saving healthcare employers time and money. Enzyme has raised $1.7 million in seed funding led by Silverton Partners. Read more

ROAM: ROAM is a digital media company  created from the desire to share adventure as it is. ROAM has raised $2.1 million in funding, including from Jeffrey Katzenberg’s WndrCo, Advancit Capital, SUSA, TackVC and Imagination Capital. Read more

Boulder Care: Boulder Care is a digital treatment program designed for patients who are battling opioid addictions. Boulder Care has raised $3.7 million in funding led by First Round Capital, with participation from Acumen America, BoxGroup and SV Angels.  

Facilio: Facilio is a management software that employs IoT and machine learning to help manage buildings operations, maintenance, and sustainability. Facilio has raised $6.4 million in Series A funding led by Tiger Global, with participation from Accel. The deal is one of several new India-based investments for Tiger since it hit the pause button on shopping in the country in 2015. Read more

15Five: 15Five develops cloud-based software designed to help employees grow and develop. 15Five has raised $8.2 million in Series A funding led by Origin Ventures, with participation from Matrix Partners, New Ground Ventures, Chaifetz Group, and investor Jason Calacanis. Read more

Forethought: Forethought builds AI systems that boost customer support productivity by embedding information retrieval into existing workflows. Forethought has raised $9 million in Series A funding led by NEA, with participation from K9 Ventures, Village Global, and a group of angels that include Mathilde Collin of Front, Vlad Tenev of Robinhood, and Alexa von Tobel of LearnVest. Jirnexu: Jirnexu provides financial institutions with a full stack fintech solution that increases sales by attracting, retaining and monetising customers. Jirnexu has raised $10 million in funding led by the consumer credit giant Experian, marking its third investment in Asian fintech. Read more

MetaCX: MetaCX is a digital success layer that brings suppliers and buyers of enterprise software together for better collaboration and outcome management. MetaCX has raised $14 million in pre-launch funding from Upfront Ventures. Read more

Workato: Workato is a platform for intelligent automations providing enterprise integration, process automation, and a citizen experience. Workato has $25 million Series B funding round from Battery Ventures, Storm Ventures, ServiceNow and Workday Ventures. Read more

Sansan: Sansan is a multi-platform cloud-based contact management solution for corporations. Sansan has raised $26.4 million in Series E funding from Japan Post Capital, T. Rowe Price, SBI Investment, and DCM Ventures. Read more

ErisX: ErisX is venturing into the digital asset space with a broad offering of both spot and futures contracts on one platform. ErisX has raised $27.5 million. Among its backers: Fidelity and Nasdaq. Read more

Lumeon: Lumeon is a digital health company providing care pathway management solutions to the healthcare industry. Lumeon has raised $28 million in funding led by LSP. Other participants in the round include MTIP and earlier backers MTIP Gilde, Amadeus Capital Partners and IPF Partners. Read more

Camunda: Camunda is a software company reinventing workflow automation. Hundreds of companies including 24 Hour Fitness, AT&T, Lufthansa Technik and Zalando trust Camunda to automate core business processes to the highest possible extent, allowing their business to scale and revenue to grow without proportionally increasing operating costs. Camunda has raised €25 million ($28 million) in Series A funding from Highland Europe. Read more

Acast: Acast is an audio-on-demand and podcast platform that hosts, monetizes, and distributes audio content globally. Acast has raised $33 million in Series C funding, including from AP1, Swedbank Robur funds Ny Teknik and Fokus Fund. Read more

Contentful: Contentful is the essential content management infrastructure for projects of any size, with its flexible APIs and global CDN. Contentful has raised $33.5 million in Series D funding. Sapphire Ventures led the round; other participants include OMERS Ventures, Salesforce Ventures and earlier backers General Catalyst, Balderton Capital and Hercules. Read more

Ascend Wellness: Ascend Wellness is a vertically integrated cannabis cultivator, processor, and dispensary operator. Ascend Wellness has raised $40 million in funding, including from Poseidon Asset Management, Salveo Capital, JM10 Partners and Shire Capital Advisors. 

Vagaro: Vagaro is an online platform that allows its users to find salons and spas in their local area and make appointments online. Vagaro has raised $63 million in growth equity led by FTV Capital. Read more

Alto Pharmacy: Alto Pharmacy is building the world's most patient-centric pharmacy. Alto Pharmacy raised $50 million in a Series C round. The funding came from Greenoaks Capital, Zola Capital and Jackson Square Ventures, bringing Alto's total raised to $73 million. Read more

Pindrop: Pindrop solutions are leading the way to the future of voice by providing identity, security, and authentication for every voice interaction. Pindrop has raised $90 million in Series D funding. Vitruvian Partners, a European private equity firm, led the round, with participation from Goldman Sachs and others. Read more

Amplitude: Amplitude provides product analytics to help companies understand user behavior. Amplitude has raised $80 million in new funding led by Sequoia Capital at a valuation of $850 million. Read more
