Nearly all of us have heard of virtual private networks (VPNs) as it keeps your IP address private from websites you visit. Your IP address is virtually like an online finger print, so if you want to browse anonymously or access websites if you were in another part of the world, then a VPN is the best solution.
Currently, hide my ass ranked as the best VPN among the many other VPNs there are available today. However, there are suggestions floating around the web from VPN users that would help gain and retain more customers. So what are these suggestions, and how would they benefit the VPN's out there today?
Today, we will go into further detail about this question, so let's get started!
When you use a VPN, you're entrusting them with important details. However, many providers don't reveal where they are based and who is running the show. This could be a shell corporation, or some guy selling services out of their apartment, which just occurred in China by a man who was illegally operating since 2013.
The solution for this is for genuine providers to stop hiding, after all your service is about preserving the client's secrecy, not the company who runs the VPN. It wouldn't be hard to add more details in the "about us" section to make it sound more legit, and build trust with your customer base.
We're living in an era of technology, and a high-quality VPN provider needs to show their technical expertise, and how they are improving the service they provide for their clients. It shouldn't be difficult to keep everything up to date, and give more emphasis when it comes to support issues.
Chat bots would help with customer integration, and solve real-time problems when they arise. It's vitally important to have a page where it shows current upgrades and enhancements. This would give the customer ease of mind, so that they feel that they are in a safe environment with the most advanced technological updates.
When it comes to signing up with a VPN, you are a bit limited when it comes to their service plans. You either have to pay for an overpriced monthly plan, or go with a yearly contract. These options would be better if there were an alternative plan based upon how many GB you use. Also, major crypto currencies could be used to keep anonymous.
When it comes to VPN's providing secrecy and security the user's rights should be placed in some kind of privacy policy. This isn't covered on a lot of VPN's websites, but it should be, and although it might take some time to cover all the privacy rights of each user, they should be listed. This would help build the utmost confidence in users regarding their rights.
When it comes to VPNs, they are useful for numerous things from getting live-streaming movies in another country to browsing websites anonymously in order to keep your identity private. Some VPNs keep up to date with many of the technological updates and customer policies, but more needs to be done in order for the industry to grow as a whole.
If the VPNs took more into consideration when it comes to payment options, customer service, and keeping they're company legit; then trust could be gained, and customer growth and loyalty would increase.
