The company was recognized for their innovation and impact in conversational platforms

Every year the American research and advisory firm Gartner releases a report that details different SMBs that are doing innovative and original things in the world of tech. They have been doing this since 2004 and this year sees a repeat appearance from noHold.

In 2015, noHold received recognition for their business process services, and this year sees recognition for AI used in conversational platforms. From the report, "The use of conversational platforms is a much-hyped topic, with chatbots, assistants, messaging platforms and other natural-language processing (NLP) uses vying for attention. The Cool Vendors in this note show the breadth of offerings available and are representatives of the cutting-edge innovation in their respective fields."

The company was picked for this award mainly due to their latest platform, SICURA QuickStart. Essentially, SICURA makes it possible for almost any individual or business to create a chatbot quickly by feeding information directly through Microsoft Word or Google Docs. More recent additions to the platform introduced a new algorithm that makes retrieving answers easier, as well as synonym lists and UI customization.

Chatbots continue to be growing field in the tech industry and in customer relations, with one report from Gartner stating that 85% of customer relations would be handled through the use of AI, which includes chatbots.

Gartner profiled 330 companies in their report, spanning over 76 different categories. These categories all focused on innovation and impact from providers in fields such as Internet of Things (IoT), AI implementation, blockchain, and conversation user experience.
