Donald Sonn became a member of the American Medical Association.

Elected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2001, Donald Sonn has joined the prestigious designation that recognizes Sonn’s commitment to education, training, and professional excellence.

The accomplished physician, Dr. Donald Sonn, received his medical training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Yeshiva University in New York. The research-intensive medical school was a great opportunity for the Sonn. After completing his basic training at the College of Medicine, he went to the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York to complete is residencies.

From the year, 1991 to 1993 Donald Sonn was a resident in the Department of Surgery at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. After completing this residency, Sonn was a resident in its Department of Urology from 1993 to 1997. During his final year at the Medical Center, Sonn serves as the Chief Resident.

Donald Sonn became a member of the American Medical Association and a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. In 1999, the storied career of Donald Sonn became more illustrious when he became a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology. Since 1997, Donald Sonn has been practicing at the Urology Group of Western New England in Springfield, Massachusetts.
