Christmas is only 10 days away. Can you believe it? Have you got all of your shopping done? Yeah, I didn’t think so. I have most of mine finished, with only a couple of e-giftcards to send out next week. I really took advantage of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Plus I was seeing my family early this year, so I had to get at least some of it done by then. Usually I’m not this good about it, though; in almost every other year it’s come much closer to the wire.
So, for all of your procrastinators or hybernators out there, at least one store has got your back.
Banana Republic has announced a series of partnerships with with a number of different companies to make sure you get your presents on time and to give extra savings and deals as a reward for putting things off until the last minute. Isn’t that nice of them?
One of those parterships is with same-day delivery service Deliv. Customers who shop with Banana Republic online will have the option to use Deliv to get those items shipped same-day for free (why wouldn’t anyone chose that option?) This is available only to customers in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Chicago, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Houston and Seattle.
The retailer has also partnered with Shyp to give a $25 credit to customers who use the company to deliver their gifts. This is available in three stores in San Francisco, New York and Miami; all the customer has to do is bring their gifts to the Banana Republic Grant Ave store in San Francisco, Soho store in New York or the Aventura Mall in Miami, and give their gifts to Shyp ambassadors to be delivered. The customer will then recieve their credit.
Banana Republic is also teaming with TaskRabbit to give a $30 credit to customers who use the service to help them last minute preparations.
For those who have trouble getting to and from the store, the retailer is teaming with up with Curb to give free rides, of up to $20, to and from Banana Republic retail locations. And, finally, if a customer spends more than $50 on giftcards at Banana Republic, they will get 10% off their gift card purchases.
These promotions are only good for a short while, from December 17th to the 22nd. After that, you’re on your own.
“Everyone is busy during the holidays, so we’re here to help treat our customers to perks that make their shopping experience a pleasure,” Chris Nicklo, VP of Marketing at Banana Republic, said in a statement. “Everyone deserves a hand during the holidays and we know what it’s like to shop down to the wire for the loved ones on our list.”
