AOL acquires The Huffington Post for $315 million; Groupon and LivingSocial go at it at Super Bowl

Aircell, provider of inflight Internet connectivity, closed a $35 million financing with its existing investors and Aircell's management team.

 

 

Antenna Software, provider of solutions for mobile Web, apps and content, acquired mobile Internet software company Volantis Systems.

 

AOL acquired The Huffington Post, a popular news site which now counts nearly 25 million unique monthly visitors, for $315 million.

 

 

 

 

Dasient, provider of anti-malware solutions for websites and ad networks, received a new round of funding from Google Ventures, which joins previous investors Benhamou Global Ventures, Floodgate and Radar Partners.
