New Executive Summary Review Service Helps Entrepreneurs Raise Capital

According to the Angel Capital Education Foundation report titled, Important Things for Entrepreneurs to Know about Angel Investors, 75% of angel investor applicants are denied funding during the prescreening round. This means that most entrepreneurs are denied funding before meeting the potential investor. For this reason, the ExecutivePlan is proud to announce a new Executive Summary Review Service to help entrepreneurs create more powerful, effective, and memorable business plan executive summaries.

An executive summary is typically the first two pages of a business plan. Famous venture capitalist Guy Kawasaki said in his book, The Art of the Start, “Of the effort you put into write a business plan, 80 percent should go into the executive summary. These are the most important paragraphs of your organization’s existence.”

The new ExecutivePlan Service includes a review of your executive summary by one of our expert staff. During the review process we look at 50 specific characteristics that are present in successful executive summaries. After the review is complete the entrepreneur will receive specific feedback on each of the 50 items that need to be improved. Additionally the ExecutivePlan will provide a 1 and 2 page Executive Summary Template for the entrepreneur to implement the executive summary suggestions, as well as, a 15 page eBook on How to Raise Capital.

With the lack of valuable resources available to angel investment applicants, the ExecutivePlan launched this new service to assist entrepreneurs as they write the executive summary of their business plan. Adam Hoeksema, Founder and CEO of the ExecutivePlan said, “I am thrilled to offer this new Executive Summary Review Service to entrepreneurs. I know conditions are tough for most entrepreneurs in need of capital right now, and I hope that these resources will help many raise the capital they so desperately need.”
