Strategic Deployments of AI
- Nutanix announced the general availability of the latest version of the Nutanix Enterprise AI solution, adding deeper integration with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, including NVIDIA NIM microservices and the NVIDIA NeMo framework, to speed the deployment of Agentic AI applications in the enterprise
- Uber Technologies and Momenta today announced a strategic agreement to introduce autonomous vehicles to the Uber platform, in international markets outside of the US and China
- HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering and HD Hyundai Robotics announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Persona AI, a provider of embodied artificial intelligence, and robotics integration and manufacturing firm Vazil Company
- Pony AI, a company providing commercialization of autonomous mobility, and Uber Technologies announced a strategic partnership to deploy Pony.ai’s Robotaxis onto the Uber platform. The partnership is expected to first launch in a key market in the Middle East later this year, with a goal of scaling deployments to additional international markets in the future
- Kore.ai, a provider of enterprise conversational and generative AI, announced a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Microsoft, bringing together Kore.ai’s agent platform and purpose-built business solutions with Microsoft’s hyperscale infrastructure and AI services
- Wendy’s revealed it will implement its FreshAi technology, which automates the drive thru ordering process, to more than 500 locations by the end of 2025. FreshAi can understand a wide range of customer requests, from simple orders to complex, customized creations
- Amniscient, a B2B SaaS company revolutionizing computer vision AI, announced the official launch of AmniSphere, a computer vision AI platform designed to help businesses harness the power of AI without complexity
- IBM partnered with Oracle to bring the power of watsonx, IBM’s flagship portfolio of AI products, to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Vodafone Business and ServiceNow announced a five-year strategic AI-powered service management collaboration, providing business customers with AI capabilities on the ServiceNow Platform that enable Vodafone to resolve queries, detect and fix service anomalies and deploy tools, faster
- Imperial College London partnered with the Children’s Hospital of Orange County to develop AI support systems for paediatric intensive care
Strategic and AI Startup Collaborations
- Queensland Health, the public health system in Queensland, Australia, partnered with Nicolab, the company behind StrokeViewer, an image processing software application that analyzes CT scans and MR perfusion scans of the brain
- LambdaTest, a unified agentic AI and cloud engineering platform, announced a partnership with MacStadium,a private Mac cloud provider enabling enterprise macOS workloads, to accelerate its AI-native software testing by leveraging Apple Silicon
- MemryX, a provider of AI accelerators for edge devices, joined the National Semiconductor Hub of Saudi Arabia. The strategic partnership brings increased development and customer support within Saudi Arabia, expanding MemryX development engineering and customer reach across the Middle East
- NewVue.ai, provider of cloud-native radiology workflow orchestration, and MD.ai, a provider of AI-enhanced reporting, announced an integration partnership that brings MD.ai’s structured reporting platform into NewVue’s EmpowerSuite
- Viam, an engineering platform for data, AI and automation, announced a partnership with CompScience, an active workers’ compensation provider leveraging computer vision to identify and predict risks before they become claims
- Mila, an academic research center for deep learning, announced a partnership with Innovasea, provider of technologically advanced aquatic solutions for aquaculture and fish tracking. Together, the two organizations aim to advance AI development for sustainable fish tracking, protection and production. This partnership will enable Innovasea to bolster its AI adoption.
AI Startup Acquisitions
- Weave, an all-in-one customer experience and payments software platform for small and medium-sized healthcare businesses, acquired TrueLark, an AI-powered receptionist and front-desk automation platform
- Function Health, a platform that provides patients with access to over 160 lab tests at a single cost of $499 per year, acquired Ezra, a direct-to-consumer cancer screening platform
- Datadog, a monitoring and security platform for cloud applications, acquired Eppo, a feature flagging and experimentation platform, which will tightly integrate with Datadog’s existing Product Analytics suite, to help companies build high-quality products faster and with less risk, especially when using AI
- Anduril Industries acquired Klas, an edge computing and tactical communications company. The acquisition, pending regulatory approval, brings Klas’ rugged hardware into Anduril’s portfolio of autonomous systems and connected warfare capabilities.
- CoreWeave completed its acquisition of Weights & Biases, a developer-first MLOps platform that builds machine learning performance visualization tools. The strategic combination strengthens CoreWeave’s capabilities to power AI innovation with the AI Cloud Platform
- Riverwood Capital, an investment firm solely dedicated to technology growth and scalability, acquired Quicklizard, an AI-driven pricing optimization company
- ServiceNow acquired data.world, a cloud-native data catalog platform, to help customers better manage data assets in an agentic AI era

- A team of researchers from Cornell Tech is using technology to support users with speech disabilities to make real-time jokes during conversations.
