Taggstr presents a social mobile tagging system that lets you share your moments on the go with your friends on popular social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Type up a description, upload photos and videos, and tell everyone where you've been and what happened while you were there. Taggstr enables you to make your world more "taggable" and leave your own marks on places around the world.

Business model

Taggstr will implement a hyperlocal, geo-sensitive advertising platform that provides vendors with the confidence to advertise to a relevant, nearby audience. We want vendors to arrive at a web interface with their venue on a map and be able to select radii of areas in which their advertisement is active. When users enter those areas, the advertising from that vendor is impressed upon them, providing an advertisement that is extremely relevant in the local context. 

Competitive advantage

We have secured multiple provisional patents regarding privacy and mobile promotions. The team is directly in the target demographic and we are a smart, fast moving team.

Our product isn't a game like FourSquare or GoWalla. It is meant to provide hardcore utility as people "tagg" the places around them with content and share them with a close set of friends. Taggstr is about focusing on the places you visit and easily viewing other peoples' experiences at those same places. 

We are more consumable on the phone than in-depth review sites like Yelp and provide much more utility on-the-go. Taggstr is easy, intuitive, and fun to use.
