MyLücke is an on-demand, private parking marketplace that makes hourly, daily, weekly and monthly parking easier for drivers, while serving as an additional source of income for people with under-utilized parking spaces. Also described as a virtual Airbnb for parking, our app-based solution is an intelligent player in the ‘share economy.’ Our goal is to help provide more available parking spaces for both consumers and commuters (employees) who encounter continuous issues in finding a place for their car.  By providing more parking, MyLücke in turn alleviates traffic congestion in busy areas like Los Angeles, California where MyLücke is headquartered. The MyLücke app can be downloaded for free in the App Store.


What is the problem you’re solving?

MyLücke is solving the biggest problem facing urban commuters today: parking. In a world that depends upon instantaneous connection, immediate communication, and quick action, wasting 15, 20, or even 30 minutes driving in circles looking for parking is both maddening and unproductive. Parking costs can vary wildly within the same neighborhood and availability is never known until arrival. The endless search for an open space or available lot unnecessarily expends additional particulate matter into the environment. And as the ongoing hunt for a space increasingly renders the driver myopic, one may run the risk of a collision with another vehicle or a pedestrian.


How is your product/solution going to help?

MyLücke has created an innovative model that utilizes contemporary sharing economy best practices and applies them to a new space – parking spaces to be precise. MyLücke works with individuals and businesses who have available parking space, whether it be a single car driveway or a multi-vehicle parking lot, and the app serves as a conduit between providers and parkers. The MyLücke model alleviates the frustration and unpredictability of searching for parking and replaces it with a safe, effective, and profitable person-to-person model. Drivers know in advance where they are going to park and how much they will pay. People with available space will have a new revenue stream. And local governments will have a grassroots solution to parking issues, as well as an added tax stream.







Business model

MyLücke provides an online platform for parking space providers to list and rent out their private, under-utilized parking spaces to our network of Parkers. Renters can set their own rate and collect 100% of the rate they set. MyLücke adds a surcharge and displays the final amount in the app, which the Parker pays.

Parkers can download our iOS app for free and search for private parking spaces in Los Angeles. Once a Parker confirms their reservation, they receive details via notifications and are able to extend their reservation based on availability.
