Goodwings is a digital hotel booking platform that gives its customers the opportunity to have a positive social impact without any additional cost, using the UN Global Goals as a framework to embrace the causes we support. Our ambition is to change the hotel industry into becoming a driving force for positive change, creating better conditions for humans, animals and planet. At comparable prices as our competitors, we offer our clients the same 365,000 hotels with the addition to donate for free to a good cause. Our business model is built on strategic cross-sector NGO partnerships. Instead of relying on traditional marketing, our message is spread by our partners, thereby disrupting traditional distribution strategies enabling NGOs to capitalize on their fanbase and corporate relations. The industry spends a total of USD 30B annually on advertisement - which is approx. 50% of the industry’s gross commission. We don’t. Instead we give these 50% of our gross commission to our NGO partners. We use this business model, as it exhibits transparency and fosters collaboration, allowing all our stakeholders to be an active part of changing the world for the better.
