Company description

Emilio Health is redefining behavioral health for children and their families

At Emilio Health, we are creating the world’s first digitally- enabled child behavioral health and family support service. We are combining live clinical support (therapists, clinicians, occupational therapists, care coordinators) with a robust digital experience to reinvent the experience for children needing behavioral health support, and the family members who support them. The current system is broken for a number of reasons that Emilio Health is addressing – lack of access, lack of coordination across clinicians, reliance on antiquated paper based models, reliance on non-evidence based models, exorbitant costs. If you (or someone you love) has experienced anxiety, depression, autism, or behavioral disorders, you know how hard it can be-- on the individual and on families. This is not (yet another) behavioral health app. We are on the front line supporting children with our clinic, live services, and family digital enablement platform.

PEDIATRIC BEHAVIORAL HEALTH IS BROKEN

One in five children have a behavioral health condition, but only 20% of those children receive treatment.

Many children have behavioral challenges that are undiagnosed, including tantrums, sensory processing challenges, oppositional defiant disorders.

Behavioral health for children is expensive, hard to get, and confusing.

Often parents don’t know how to help their child with their behavioral health challenges and are left wondering “Is this behavior normal?”

EMILIO HEALTH IS PROVIDING A NEW SOLUTION FOR FAMILIES

We are creating clinics that are designed with children, adolescents and teens in mind. Our clinics are multi-speciality for therapy, occupational therapy and other needs.

We are creating a care collaboration model between therapists, physicians, families and schools so that all the people involved in your child’s life know what’s needed to support them.

We are delivering a digital platform to make things like scheduling, tracking a child’s progress, and tele-therapy as easy as ordering a book online, and to help kids get help for the 99.9% of the time they aren’t with their therapist.

WE ARE SOLVING THE KEY PROBLEMS IN PEDIATRIC BEHAVIORAL HEALTH: ACCESS, QUALITY, AND COST

We are using a number of innovations to deliver greater access to therapists, including frequency-"dosage" model, parent mediated interventions and coaching model.

We are implementing a clinical supervision and technology that support fidelity to clinical protocols and outcome assessment.

We are innovating with health plans and self-insured employers to define to models for affordable care for families accross the U.S.
