Over the last twenty years, the way we travel has been revolutionised by the internet. But in many ways, the activity industry has not kept pace with the change. Every company's website is different and the information on them is often limited, making it hard to compare costs, availability and the features being offered. Often, you have to call an agent to complete the booking, an extra hassle.

Bookeroo aims to transform the activity industry, by harnessing the power of the internet to make the process of finding fun activities for groups efficient and cost effective. We want to open the door to price comparison, dynamic pricing, smartphone booking and online booking management.

Our goal is to help people explore the world of activities and leisure pursuits in a way that they haven’t been able to do before now.

Competitive advantage

Bookeroo will have a few innovations to distinguish itself from the rest. Firstly, it will give the customer the ability to search for what they want in one place, a clear way to cut through the jumble.

Secondly, with Bookeroo you will be able to book and pay for your activity online. Our customers have grown up with the internet and are accustomed to being able to do everything online – they don’t want to talk to an agent to finalise their booking. Bookeroo’s easy-to-use, self-service interface puts the customer in control, giving greater flexibility and convenience.

Competitors tend to focus on one segment of the market; hen and stag parties, or children’s birthday parties, or corporate team building events. Bookeroo is not targeting a particular demographic, it will provide the flexibility to book whatever activity is needed at that particular time.

We will also add another layer that is missing from the industry, a community contributing personal recommendations and user-contributed reviews, which will all assist customers in making decisions.

Finally, we believe that smartphones and tablets will become the primary method of online booking in the coming years and the website wil be set up to make that an easy and straightforward experience.
