Company description

While generation Y’ers are technologically savvy, they have little loyalty to the concept of employment and without the tools and knowledge to build their own businesses they are simply an unskilled workforce. Most adults don’t individually know how to solve this problem for their children, and they don’t work together as a community to solve it either.

Making this an even more challenging situation, entrepreneurial skills are not taught in the traditional school curriculum.

This is where Biz in a Boxx becomes the solution. This patent-pending, experiential business tool, designed exclusively for children and teens ages 7 to 18, taps into essential and fundamental life skills for success: accountability, creativity, responsibility, and financial security, among others.  Designed to be worked on independently, this hands-on approach teaches practical tools of entrepreneurship for real-world situations and implements the American dream of earning financial independence by starting a successful business at a young age.

Biz in a Boxx builds the foundational skills required to run a self-made business.  The outcome is a revolutionary, comprehensive product designed to encourage young minds to explore entrepreneurial possibilities and gives youth a positive first experience in starting and managing their own businesses.

When we ignore teaching kids the skills to run a business successfully, we inadvertently set them up to fail.  A child’s first lemonade stand isn’t just a way to keep them occupied for an afternoon – it’s a valuable lesson that helps them acquire business acumen, in the same way they learn teamwork from playing sports, think critically through math and science, or be imaginative through the arts.

Biz in a Boxx provides a step-by-step learning system for each age group by providing age-appropriate concepts and independent application for young entrepreneurs.  Ages 7 to 10 begin as the “CEO Prodigy,” ages 11 to 14 as the “CEO Apprentice,” and ages 15+ as “The CEO.”
