Ask Jot is formerly known as Semantalyzr (the two words "Semantic" and "Analyzer" put together)

AskJot's specialty is finding types of keywords on web pages like people, companies, countries and many others. The easiest way to use this feature is by installing the bookmarklet found on the homepage http://askjot.com . Click it while your at a page and Jot will find keywords on that page for you. The keywords are displayed as links to a page returning search results for that keyword from various services around the web.

 

Semantic Technologies:

AskJot uses OpenCalais and the Zemanta API for term and entity extraction. 

AskJot also uses DBPedia and the Wikipedia API to query for an "abstract" for a given term.
