CaptivateIQ raised $46M; Snorkel AI landed $35M; Pathlight secured $25M; Pica8 picks up $20M
MasterClass: MasterClass is a San Francisco-based company that sells subscriptions to online courses taught by experts. MasterClass is raising new funding led by Fidelity at a $2.5 billion valuation, says Axios. It last raised money in mid-2020 in another Fidelity-led round, at a reported $800 million valuation. Redis Labs: Redis Labs is a Mountain View, Ca.-based data processing startup. Redis Labs has raised $110 million in Series G funding led by Tiger Global Management; it was joined by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and TCV. Read more
Icosavax: Icosavax is a Seattle-based biotech company whose approach to vaccine production centers on creating computer-designed, virus-like particles that are used in vaccines to trigger immune responses. Icosavax has raised $100 million in Series B funding. RA Capital Management led the round, joined by a long list of other backers. Read more
Pendulum Therapeutics: Pendulum Therapeutics is a San Francisco-based biotech focused on the microbiome. Pendulum Therapeutics has raised $54 million in Series C funding led by Meritech Capital, with participation from earlier backers Sequoia Capital, True Ventures, and Khosla Ventures. Read more
CaptivateIQ: CaptivateIQ is a San Francisco-based no-code sales commission platform. CaptivateIQ raised $46 million in Series B funding led by Accel. Earlier backers Sequoia Capital, Y Combinator, Amity, and S28 Capital also joined the round. Read more
Snorkel AI: Snorkel AI is a Menlo Park, Ca.-based startup that's focused on automating data labeling in machine learning. Snorkel AI has raised $35 million in Series B funding. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round, joined by Walden, BlackRock and earlier investors Greylock, GV, In-Q-Tel and Nepenthe Capital. Read more
Streamlit: Streamlit is a San Francisco-based app framework built specifically for machine learning and data science teams. Streamlit has raised $35 million in Series B funding led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from earlier backers Gradient Ventures and GGV Capital. Read more
Pathlight: Pathlight is a San Francisco-based performance management platform for customer-facing teams like sales, field service and support. Pathlight has raised $25 million in new funding led by Insight Partners, with participation from Uncorrelated Ventures, earlier backers Kleiner Perkins and Quiet Capital, and a long list of individual investors, including CAA cofounder Michael Ovitz. Pica8: Pica8 is a Palo Alto, Ca.-based open networking software maker. Pica8 has raised $20 million in Series C funding. WI Harper Group and Aspiro Capital Management led the round, joined by Vantage Point Ventures. Read more
Guardian Agriculture: Guardian Agriculture is a Boston-based crop protection company that employs both an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicle, along with accompanying software that tracks where farmers fertilize and how much. Guardian Agriculture has raised $10.5 million in seed funding. Read more
Nuvocargo: Nuvocargo is a New York-based logistics platform for cross-border trade between the U.S and Mexico. Nuvocargo has raised $12 million in Series A funding led by QED Investors, FJ Labs, Clocktower, NFX, and ALLVP along with a long list of notable individual investors, including Nubank CEO David Velez and former SoftBank investor Michael Ronen. Malomo: Malomo is a Indianapolis company that enables e-commerce brands to generate revenue and customer loyalty by turning shipment tracking into a marketing channel. Malomo has raised $5 million in seed funding. Malomo’s funding round included existing investors Harlem Capital, High Alpha, Hyde Park Venture Partners, Paul Singh, and new strategic investors The Vaan Group, CX Collective, Curtis Cheng, Jeremy Cai, and Alexandre Perrier. Ark: Ark is a Boston-based investor portal designed for private equity, venture capital and real estate fund managers. Ark raised $3.4 million in Series A funding. Vitruvian Partners led the round. Read more
Illumy: Illumy is a San Ramon, Ca. -base hyper-communications™ platform hat solves the problems of outdated and fragmented legacy communications tools. Illumy announced today the closing of a $2.2 million angel funding round. Read more
Mantra Health, a three-year-old, New York-based startup providing virtual mental healthcare services to higher education, has added $2 million more to a $3.2 million seed round it disclosed late last year. Its newest backers include Canaan Partners, City Light Capital, and Baleon Capital, as well as Aligned Telehealth founder Nitin Nanda. MobiHealth News has more here.
