Why did you start your company or why do you want to innovate inside your company?
As people age, families need solutions to care for their loved ones that improve quality of life and peace-of-mind. My 86 year old mother has fallen 3 times and I want to know when she's well and when she needs help. Our vision is to empower millions of people to care for their loved ones and live safely and happily at home. There is a huge business opportunity to use technology to lower the cost of healthcare while enabling seniors to live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?
It always takes twice as long for the world to adopt as it should. But when it happens, entrepreneurship is very rewarding
What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?
Running out of money
What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?
Create best-in-class products that solve big important problems. Develop powerful channels to market that scale. Don't run out of money.
How do you keep a work/life balance?
Love your family and make great music
