Dr. James Greenblatt, Chief Medical officer at Walden Behavioral Care, on VatorNews podcast
More than half of mental illness symptoms could go away with the right nutrition
Bambi Francisco Roizen speaks with Dr. James Greenblatt. Dr. Greenblatt is the Chief Medical officer at Walden Behavioral Care in Massachusetts. He’s the founder of several books and a platform called Psychiatry Redefined - an educational platform dedicated to transforming psychiatry. Bambi and Greenblatt discuss the silent epidemic of eating disorders and how well over half of the mental health problems are likely due to root causes that stem from nutritional and hormone deficiencies. Much of the mental health symptoms treated with bandaids could go away if root causes were treated!
Our goal for these podcasts is to understand how technology is radically changing healthcare: the way we screen, treat and measure progress and outcomes. Whether tech is helping or hurting our well-being physically and mentally. And whether we’re creating productivity that drives economic costs down while improving our overall health.
