Grouparoo has raised $3M; Food Market Hub secured $4M; Rapid Robotics landed $5.5M
Grouparoo: Grouparoo is a Menlo Park, Ca.-based startup with an open source framework designed to make it easier for developers to access and make use of customer data. Grouparoo has raised $3 million in seed funding. Eniac Ventures and Fuel Capital co-led the round, joined by Hack VC, Liquid2, SCM Advisors and several unnamed angel investors. Read more
WattBuy: WattBuy is an online electricity marketplace that empowers consumers to make smarter decisions about their electricity costs by allowing them to browse and select plans in their area, today announced it has raised $3.25 million in its Series A round of funding led by Evergy Ventures. Additional investors include Updater, Avesta Fund, Yoav Lurie, John Sherman, and Bill Gatreaux. Existing investors also participating in this round include Fort Ventures, Techstars Ventures and Powerhouse Ventures. Read more
Food Market Hub: Food Market Hub is a Malaysia-based cloud-based platform that connects food and beverage outlets to suppliers to ease communications and manage orders. Food Market Hub has raised $4 million in Series A funding. Go-Ventures, whose cornerstone investor is Gojek, co-led the round with SIG. Read more
Rapid Robotics: Rapid Robotics is a San Francisco-based maker of pre-programmed factory robotics that promise to work more or less work out to the box instead of require lots of training. Rapid Robotics has $5.5 million in seed funding from Greycroft and Bee Partners. Read more
Farmstead: Farmstead is a Mountain View, Ca.-based startup that operates an online grocery business while also selling software to other grocers. Farmstead has raised $7.9 million in Series A funding. Aidenlair Capital led the round, joined by Y Combinator, Gelt VC, Duro, Maple VC, Heron Rock, 19 York, Red Dog Capital and others. Read more
Cardless: Cardless is a San Francisco-based consumer credit card fintech firm that helps brands launch and run custom co-branded credit card programs. Cardless has raised $10 million in funding from Greycroft, Accomplice, Clocktower Ventures, and Pear. Read more
CloudBolt: CloudBolt is Rockville, Md.-based cloud management platform developer. CloudBolt has raised $15 million in Series B funding led by Insight Partners. Read more
Realync: Realync is a Carmel, In.-based video leasing and engagement platform for the multifamily real estate sector. Realync has raised $22 million in funding from Susquehanna Growth Equity. Read more
Abacus.AI: Abacus.AI is a Bay Area-based machine learning startup aiming to help businesses implement modern deep learning systems into their customer experience and business processes without having to train models themselves. Abacus.AI has raised $22 million in Series B funding. The round, led by Coatue, with participation from Decibel Ventures and Index Ventures. Read more
Duolingo: Duolingo is a Pittsburgh, Pa.-based language learning platform. Duolingo has raised $35 million in new funding from Durable Capital and General Atlantic. Read more
K Health: K Health is a New York-based company that says it's developing a data-driven digital primary care system. K Health has raised $42 million in Series D funding. Valor Equity Partners led the round, joined by Marcy Venture Partners, Atreides Management, PICO Venture Partners, and earlier backers 14W and Max Ventures. Read more
