Atmosphere Atmosphere is a streaming TV service for businesses. Atmosphere has raised $5 million in fresh Series A funding that brings the total round to $14 million. Backers included Valor Siren Ventures and earlier investors, including Austin-based S3 Ventures. Read more

Jenny Life: Jenny Life is a life insurance provider for parents. Jenny Life has raised $3.5 million in Series A funding for a total raise of $5 million including from the venture arm of CUNA Mutual Group and unnamed individuals from within the insurance industry. Read more

Pulse: Pulse is a social research platform for CIOs and tech executives. Pulse has raised $6.5M Series A funding round led by AV8 Ventures. Read more

Livly : Livly is a tech platform that helps property owners manage their rental properties. Livly has raised $8 million in fresh funding, including from Geolo Capital, OCA Ventures and Founder Equity, along with individual investors. Read more

SteadyMD : SteadyMD is a digital tech startup whose platform and online services enable continuous care with a board-certified doctor through video, text and phone. SteadyMD has raised $6 million in Series A funding co-led by Pelion Venture Partners and Next Ventures. Other backers in the round include First Trust Capital Partners, The Daube Family office, Crosscut Ventures, M25, Wild Ventures, and Hyde Park Venture Partners.

BigRentz : BigRentz is a construction equipment rental marketplace. BigRentz has raised $15 million in funding led by ITOCHU Corporation. Read more

Zucara Therapeutics : Zucara Therapeutics is a diabetes life sciences company. Zucara Therapeutics has raised $21 million in Series A funding led by Perceptive Xontogeny Venture Fund. Read more

Phantom AI : Phantom AI is a startup developing advanced driver-assistance systems for cars and trucks. Phantom AI has raised $22 million in Series A funding. Celeres Investments led the round, joined by Ford Motor Company and KT. Earlier backers Millennium Technology Value Partners and DSC Investment also participated. Read more

AM-Pharma : AM-Pharma is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on acute kidney injury. AM-Pharma has raised €47 million ($52 million) led by Cowen Healthcare Investments. Read more
