Welcome Technologies: Welcome Technologies is a company that connects its global immigrant community with the information, products, and services needed to enter a new country. Welcome Technologies has raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Crosscut Ventures. Read more 

iPrice: iPrice is a comparison shopping platform. iPrice has raised $10 million in Series B funding. ACA Investments led the round; other participants include Daiwa PI Partners and earlier investors Line Ventures, Mirae Asset-Naver and Asia Growth Fund. Read more

GameOn Technology: GameOn Technology is an application platform company. GameOn Technology has raised $10.5 million in funding led by Quest Ventures, with participation from Mirae Venture Partners and Paxion. Read more

Tricog: Tricog provides cloud-based screening and diagnosis of chronic heart disease. Tricog has raised $10.5 million led by The University of Tokyo Edge Capital, alongside Aflac Ventures, Dream Incubator, and TeamFund. Earlier investors Inventus Capital and Blume Ventures also joined the round. Read more

unitQ: unitQ is a solution for staying on top of product quality across all platforms, languages and regions. unitQ has raised $11M in Series A funding. The round was led by Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund, with participation from Creandum, XSeed Capital, Bragiel Brothers and BootstrapLabs. Read more

Talespin: Talespin works on virtual reality learning and training applications. Talespin has raised $15 million to grow its business from corporate investors Farmers Insurance, the software company Cornerstone OnDemand, and hardware maker HTC. The company has now raised $20 million altogether. Read more 

C16 Biosciences: C16 Biosciences is a biotech company at work on sustainable alternatives to palm oil use. C16 Biosciences has raised $20 million in Series A funding. Breakthrough Energy Ventures led the round,  joined by Waldencast, Future Tech Labs, Y Combinator, DCVC, Sound Ventures, AME Cloud Ventures and Liquid 2 Ventures. Read more  

Sensel: Sensel develops pressure-sensitive touchpad devices. Sensel has raised $22 million in Series A funding from Susquehanna International Group, Morningside Group, SMiT, Palm Commerce Holdings Co., Chariot Gold, SV Tech Ventures and Innolinks Ventures. Read more

Sourcegraph: Sourcegraph aims to make exploring code anywhere as painless as searching and browsing the web. Sourcegraph has raised $23 million in Series B funding. Craft Ventures led the round, joined by earlier backers Redpoint Ventures and Goldcrest Capital. Read more

PredaSAR: PredaSAR works on a radar satellite constellation. PredaSAR has raised $25 million in seed funding led by Rokk3r Fuel. Read more 

Bolt Mobility: Bolt Mobility is an electric scooter company co-founded by Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt. Bolt Mobility has raised $30 million in Series A funding led by the venture firm Rokk3r Fuel. Read more  

Colonies: Colonies is managing fully furnished, community-minded homes located in large cities. Colonies has raised $34 million in funding from Idinvest Partners, Global Founders Capital and La Financière Saint James. Read more

Five: Five was working on its own self-driving cars and now plans to license its technology to others at work on autonomous vehicles. Five has raised $41 million in Series B funding. Investors include Trustbridge Partners, insurance giant Direct Line Group and Sistema VC, as well as earlier backers Lakestar, Amadeus Capital Partners, Kindred Capital and Notion Capital. The company has now raised $77 million. Read more
