Demodesk has raised $2.3M; Foundries.io landed $3.5M; Tines secured $4.1M

 

Demodesk: Demodesk is building an intelligent online meeting tool for inside sales and customer service teams. Demodesk has raised $2.3 million in seed funding round from GFC, FundersClub, Y Combinator, Kleiner Perkins and a set of angel investors from Silicon Valley and Europe. Read more

Foundries.io: Foundries.io is the maker of software platforms for embedded product development. Foundries.io has raised $3.5 million in funding. Crane Venture Partners led the round, joined by Backed VC. Read more

​Shiru: ​Shiru i food tech company that wants to create protein ingredients that could be used in alternatives to cheese, yogurt, milk, and eggs. Shiru has raised $3.5 million in funding led by Lux Capital. Founder Jasmin Hume was formerly the director of food chemistry at JUST, formerly known as Hampton Creek. Read more

Tines: Tines lets companies automate aspects of their cybersecurity. Tines has raised $4.1 million in Series A funding led by Blossom Capital. Read more 

Taskade: Taskade is a collaboration tool for startup teams. Taskade has raised $5 million in seed funding from Grishin Robotics and Y Combinator.  Read more TechCrunch has more here.

Ginger: Ginger makes it easy to get mental and emotional support, exactly when you need it. Ginger has raised $7.5 million in follow-on funding from Health Velocity Capital. Read more

Ally: Ally is a  goal-setting and execution management software provider. Ally has raised $15 million Series B funding round led by Tiger Global Management, LLC, a New York investment firm known for investing in strategic, innovative companies such as Facebook, Flipkart, Slack, and Stripe. Previous investors Accel, Vulcan Capital, and Founders Co-op, also participated in this round. Read more 

Augmedix: Augmedix’s mission is to rehumanize the clinician-patient relationship, and address the largest pain point in the US healthcare system – the burden of documentation. Augmedix has raised $19 million in Series B funding that includes investments from Redmile Group, McKesson Ventures, DCM Ventures, Wanxiang Healthcare Investments and others. Read more

Grafana Labs: Grafana is the open source analytics & monitoring solution for every database. Grafana Labs has raised $24 million in Series A funding. The funds from the round, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Lead Edge CapitalRead more

Coople: Coople is an on-demand staffing platform in Europe. Coople has raised a $32 million Series C round led by One Peak Partners and the growth equity arm of Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking. Read more
