Indose raised $3.5M; Crusoe landed $4.5M; Spiral Therapeutics closed $5.6M

Indose: Indose is a technology company in the cannabis industry with the first medicinal device that measures dosage. Indose has raised $3.5 million in Series A funding led by Casa Verde Capital. Read more  

Crusoe Energy Systems: Crusoe is on a mission to help the oil industry reduce routine flaring of natural gas. Crusoe has raised $4.5 million in seed funding. Bain Capital Ventures and Founders Fund led the round and were joined by Wicklow Capital, Winklevoss Capital and Dragonfly Capital Partners. Read more  

Spiral Therapeutics: Spiral Therapeutics is a clinical stage pharmaceutical company delivering novel therapies for hearing loss. Spiral Therapeutics has closed on $5.6 million in Series A funding. Investors include Sunghwan Choi, Inveready, Savoir Capital and Camden Partners. Read more

LeQuest: LeQuest has developed a software platform that enables healthcare professionals to be trained in the use of (complex) medical equipment. LeQuest  has raised €7 million in funding. MedFinance andInnovationQuarter participated in the round, along with earlier backers NextGen Ventures, Noaber Ventures and Philips Health Technology Ventures. Read more  

Chumbak: Chumbak, a Bangalore, India-based gifting startup. Founded by Subhra Chadda, Chumbak sells designer t-shirts, tins, coffee mugs shot. Chumbak has raised $10 million in Series D funding led by Gaja Capital, with participation from Matrix Partners and Seedfund. The company operates both online and offline. Read more

Thunes: Thunes offers a cross-border network that delivers smarter payment solutions for emerging economies. Thunes has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by GGV Capital. Read more

Trusted Health: Trusted Health is a digital employment platform for nurses that allows them to connect with flexible job opportunities. Trusted Health has raised $20 million in Series A funding. Craft Ventures led the round and was joined by investors including Felicis Ventures and Founder Collective. Read more
