Daisie landed $2.5M; Arris Composites closed $10M; Health at Scale secured $16M; Modsy raised $37M

Daisie: Daisie brings creators together and supports them to do amazing work. Daisie has raised $2.5 million in seed funding. The company, co-founded by actor Maisie Williams, is backed predominately by Founders Fund. Others investors include 8VC, Kleiner Perkins, and Shrug Capital. Read more

Roundtrip: RoundTrip provides on-demand and scheduled non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for patients. RoundTrip has raised $5.14 million in Series A funding. Motley Fool Ventures led the round and was joined by Ben Franklin Technology Partners and Johns Hopkins University. Read more

CozyKin: CozyKin specializes in Montessori-Inspired Nanny Shares for ages 0-3. CozyKin has raised $6 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from NextView Ventures and Primary Venture Partners. Read more

Arris Composites: Arris Composites provides next-gen composites for mass-market applications. Arris Composites has raised $10 million in Series A funding. NEA led the round and specifically, its venture partner Jeffrey Immelt, the former CEO of GE, was involved in the decision to fund the company. Read more  

Quadric.io: quadric.io is an end-to-end architecture optimized for real-time edge computing. quadric.io has raised $15 million in Series A funding led by automotive Tier 1 supplier DENSO and its semiconductor products arm NSITEXE. Leawood VC also participated in the round. Read more

Modulr: Modulr provides a new type of payment account. Modulr has raised £14 million in funding led by Frog Capital, with participation from Blenheim Chalcot. Mobile Payments Read more  

Health at Scale: HEALTH[at]SCALE develops machine learning and artificial intelligence healthcare application. HEALTH[at]SCALE has raised $16 million in Series A funding. Optum, which is part of the UnitedHealth Group, was the sole investor. Read more

Wagestream​: Wagestream is a financial services firm that allows employees to stream their earned wages into their accounts through an instant app. Wagestream has raised £15 million ($19 million) in funding, including from Balderton​ and ​Northzone. Read more

Robin Powered: Robin Powered is an office meeting room booking software. Robin Powered has raised $20 million in Series B funding led by Tola Capital, with participation from Allegion Ventures and earlier investors Accomplice and FirstMark Capital. Read more

Actuate Therapeutics: Actuate Therapeutics provides advancing research to treatment of high impact cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. Actuate Therapeutics has raised $21.7 million led by Kairos Ventures. Other participants in the round include DEFTA Partners,Tech Coast Angels and earlier backer Bios Partners. Read more

Prowler.io: PROWLER.io is an AI/machine learning platform for building autonomous agents for games and decision-support simulations. PROWLER.io has raised $24 million at a valuation of $100 million. Its backers include Amadeus Capital Partners, Atlantic Bridge, Cambridge Innovation Capital, Mandatum Life, Passion Capital, Pearson, RB Capital, SGInnovate, and Tencent. Read more

Snapsheet: Snapsheet is an auto insurance marketplace for both motorists/drivers and auto insurance carriers. Snapsheet has raised $29 million in Series E funding. Earlier investor Tola Capital led the round. Other participants include Nationwide, Sedgwick and State Auto Labs, along with other previous investors, including OCA Ventures, Liberty Mutual Strategic Investors, F-Prime Capitaland USAA. The company has now raised $71 million. Read more
