Storr raised $3M; Skylark closed $4M; Webscale landed $14M; Innowatts secured $18.2M

Storr: Storr enables anyone to open a store from their phone. On Storr, people make money selling products instead of retailers like Amazon. Storr has raised $3 million in new funding from Spark Capital. The company has now raised $7.8 million in what it's describing as pre-Series-A funding. Read more

Skylark Travel: Skylark is a booking platform for higher-end travel. Skylark has raised $4 million in funding led by 25Madison. Read more

Urban: Urban is a B2C and B2B technology marketplace connecting wellness professionals with buyers in their local neighborhood. Urban has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by Accelerated Digital Ventures, with participation from earlier backers Passion Capital and Felix Capital. Read more

Webscale: Webscale provides control for web apps: predictive auto-scaling, performance optimization, BOT mgmt, CDN, WAF and is a multi-cloud SaaS. Webscale has raised $14 million in Series B funding. Mohr Davidow Ventures led the round, joined by Benhamou Global Ventures and Grotech Ventures. Read more

Quadric.io: Quadric.io is building a supercomputer designed for the real-time needs of edge devices. Quadric.io has raised $15 million in Series A funding, including from the automotive company DENSO and Leawood VC. Read more

TomboyX: TomboyX is a fashion-based company that offers clothes and accessories to any gender. TomboyX has raised $18 million in Series B funding led by Craftory in exchange for a majority stake in the business. Read more

Innowatts: Innowatts is an energy technology company transforming the way energy is bought, sold, managed and consumed. Innowatts has raised $18.2 million in new funding led by Energy Impact Partners. Earlier investors Shell Ventures, Iberdrola andEnergy & Environment Investment participated along with another new investor, Evergy Ventures. Read more

Algorithmia: Algorithmia is an open marketplace for algorithms, enabling developers to create tomorrows smart applications today. Algorithmia has raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Norwest Partners. Fellow investors Madrona, Gradient Ventures, Work-Bench, Osage University Partners and Rakuten Ventures also joined the round. Read more

Cynora: Cynora is an OLED materials company whose tech is used in organic light-emitting diode displays. Cynora has raised $25 million in Series C funding led by SRF. Other backers include DBOLED, SBI Cross-Border Advantage Fund and earlier investors MIG Funds and Wecken & Cie. Read more  

IsoPlexis: IsoPlexis is a life sciences company developing an innovative, single-cell, protein response analysis platform. IsoPlexis has raised $25 million in Series C funding. Northpond Ventures led the round. Read more

Hydrow: Hydrow is a provider of a connected indoor rowing machine. Hydrow has raised Series A funding that takes the round to $27 million. L Catterton led the first tranche in February; new investors in the round include Rx3 Ventures, Wheelhouse, The Raptor Group and The Yard Ventures. Read more

WekaIO: WekaIO has built the world's fastest file system for AI and technical computing. WekaIO has raised $32 million in Series C funding from HP Enterprise, Mellanox, NVIDIA, Seagate, Qualcomm and Western Digital Capital. Read more  

Tempo Automation: Tempo is the world’s fastest low-volume electronics manufacturer. Tempo has raised $45 million in Series C funding led by Point72 Ventures, with participation from earlier backers Lux Capital and Uncork Capital, plus new investor Lockheed Martin. Read more
