Nicoya: Nicoya is a biotech company that uses nanotechnology, microfluidics, and AI to build products that enable scientists to better understand diseases like cancer and hepatitis. Nicoya has raised C$10 million in Series A funding. Whitecap Venture Partners led the round, joined by earlier backers, including Garage Capital, MaRS IAF, Laurier Startup Fund, University of Waterloo Student Venture Fund. Read more

Lemongrass Consulting: Lemongrass Consulting is a managed service provider of SAP enterprise applications running on AWS hyperscale cloud infrastructure. Lemongrass Consulting has raised $10 million in Series C funding. Blue Lagoon Capital led the round, joined by earlier backer Columbia Capital. Read more
