Crown Affair: Crown Affair is a beauty brand that makes hair products. Crown Affair has raised $1.7 million in funding from Brand Foundry, Amplifyher Ventures, and numerous angel investors, including Thirdlove cofounder Heidi Zak and TrunkClub cofounder Brian Spaly. Read more

Defendify: Defendify is an all-in-one, SaaS-delivered cybersecurity platform designed specifically for small businesses. Defendify has raised $2 million funding. The round was led by 3dot6 Ventures, a boutique cybersecurity investment firm that, along with the Maine Technology Institute Read more
Knox Financial: Knox Financial is a home ownership investment platform. Knox Financial has raised $3 million in seed funding led by Greycroft, with participation from Pillar VC. Read more
Masters of Pie: Masters of Pie is an enterprise software company. Masters of Pie has raised $4.7 million led by Foresight Williams, with participation from Bosch Ventures and Downing Ventures. Read more
1Huddle: 1Huddle is a workforce tech company that trains and motivates employees through mobile games. 1Huddle has raised $5 million in Series A funding. Tribeca Venture Partners led the round, joined by Humbition, NRD Capital and Newark Venture Partners. Read more
Concentric: Concentric is an enterprise data management platform that aims to secure unstructured (yet critical) data. Concentric has raised $7.5 million from Clear Ventures, Engineering Capital, Homebrew and Core Ventures. Read more
Aumni: Aumni’s platform tracks critical financial, commercial and legal terms across private equity portfolios. Aumni has raised $10 million in Series A funding. SVB led the round, joined by Kickstart Seed Fund, Blackhorn Ventures, Prelude, Service Provider Capital, Moneta Ventures, Next Frontier Capital, and Quiet Ventures. Read more
