With a focus on managing renewals for SaaS customers

Totango, a leader in gauging and managing customer success, has released another product to go along with their set of tools. Revenue Stream, released this week, provides Totango users with in-depth graphs and analytics to better understand customer retention and renewals. In a market where churn rate is a constant concern, having a way to efficiently manage renewals is key.

When dealing with Software as a Service, companies have to focus all aspects of their business, from bringing in new clients and gauging their happiness with your service, to managing renewals and upsells. With most Enterprise SaaS companies, customer renewals can account for 50-70% of total revenue, so having a tool to understand and predict changes in that important revenue stream is of utmost importance. That being said, “Today SaaS companies don’t have a good way to see a complete picture of their revenue stream,” says Maksim Ovsyannikov, Totango's Chief Product Officer.

Revenue Stream allows Totango users quickly access customers who are due for renewals and use that information to better plan for forecasting and planning. On top of that, it allows for account prioritization so teams can see where their focus needs to be. Traditionally, many of this things would require hours of grunt work and research, accounting for wasted time that could have been better spent working on actual retention and upsells. Revenue Stream also allows customers to quickly and accurately follow up with activities and contacts to hopefully avoid churn risk, a major concern in SaaS companies looking to maintain clients.
