We are excited to announce that Peter Thiel will be joining us for our inaugural Post Seed conference on Dec. 2 at Cowell Pavilion in Fort Mason in San Francisco, gathering technology startups, investors and journalists to focus on investing in the post seed stages. Post Seed is being hosted and produced by Vator, Bullpen Capital and Venture51.

For many of our readers, Thiel, who's globally known for his unconventional thinking, needs no introduction. As he once said on stage at one of our past events, to think unconventionally is just to think for oneself. Clearly, Thiel does that in spades as he looks askance at many traditions, beliefs and even popular modalities of investing and building businesses.

He's best known as the first money into Facebook, and the co-founder of PayPal (1998) and Palantir (2004). Now he's known as the author of "Zero to One." In my opinion, he's one of the most thought-provoking original thinkers of our time, and one of the best founder-friendly investors any startup entrepreneur could be fortunate to work with. 

Thiel joins Keith Rabois, Partner at Khosla Ventures and Chris Dixon, Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, and many more esteemed investors and startup founders.
