Fireside Keynote with two founders of The Honest Company

Just a week ago, The Honest Company announced a partnership with Target, a move that is part of the company's expansion plans beyond online sales. And from what I hear, sales are off the charts.

It's no wonder The Honest Company, which was founded just in 2012, has already raised $50-plus million in financing.

So we're excited to announce that Jessica Alba and Brian Lee, both founders of The Honest Company, will be joining us at Vator Splash LA, this Oct. 2 in Santa Monica. The Honest Company has to be, in my opinion, one of the hottest companies in LA right now.

Not only is the timing so ripe for this kind of product (everyone wants eco-friendly these days), the founding team is exceptional.

Lee is a partner at General Catalyst, and he's also a successful entrepreneur, having founded Legalzoom circa 2001, and then Shoedazzle - both high-profile companies that have attracted a lot of press and VC attention.

Alba is a successful actress and model whose brand represents cool, fun, transparent, hipster mom, which aligns well with the Honest brand.

A little background on The Honest Company

Started in 2012, The Honest Company - founded by Jessica Alba, Brian Lee, Christopher Gavigan and Sean Kane - is a consumer products company focused on non-toxic and eco-friendly baby and family products, from diapers to home cleaning to skin care.

To date, The Honest Company has raised $52 million in financing, from investors such as Institutional Venture Partners, ICONIQ Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners.
