Vator Splash SF Oct 2 is in 10 days!
Get your Splash tickets before they jump up in a week
As many of our Splash attendees know, Splash is an unparalleled opportunity to hear awesome presentations about successes and failures throughout an entrepreneur's journey. Check out the video of some past speakers.
At our upcoming Splash SF startup event and competition this Oct. 2, we'll have two entrepreneurs who will share some very interesting stories.
Keith Krach is the CEO of DocuSign, which has raised $125 million in venture financing.
Krach also founded Ariba, which he brought public during the first Internet IPO wave circa 1999.
We'll also have Jared Simon is the co-founder and COO of HotelTonight, which just last week announced that it raised $45 million, bringing its total round of funding to $80 million.
You'll hear their lessons learned and advice on how they disrupted and scaled their businesses. DocuSign is overhauling the way documents are being signed and processed!
HotelTonight is today's Priceline (which emerged during Web 1.0 as the place to find last-minute discounts on hotel rooms, airfare and car rentals). The difference is HotelTonight just seems way cooler and easy to use on a mobile phone!
Get your tickets before they go up at midnight tonight!
We're excited to have both entrepreneurs join us along with our lineup of VC speakers and judges from Jed Katz (Javelin Venture Partners), Tony Conrad (True Ventures), Ben Ling (Khsola Ventures), Jenny Fielding (BBC Worldwide), Sean Flynn (Shasta Ventures), Howard Hartenbaum (August Capital), Charles Hudson (SoftTech VC), Charles Moldow (Foundation Capital), Andrew Ross (Grant Thornton), Lars Leckie (Hummer Winblad), Rory O'Driscoll (Scale Venture Partners), Dave Samuel (Freestyle), Rick Moss (Hub Ventures). You'll also watch 10 promising startups compete for the fame and glory that comes from wining a Splash event. Past Splash winners and finalists have gone on to raise some $100 million in follow-on financing!
The winner gets sit-down meetings with August Capital, Freestyle Capital, Javelin Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures and Shasta Ventures. They'll also win other prizes, like two-hour accounting consultations from Grant Thornton, $24,000 worth of services, courtesy Rackspace; free services from Backops, a couple bottles of wine, courtesy Bread & Butter, and an Apple iPad Mini, to name a few.
Speaking of prizes, thanks to our sponsors for providing them and helping us to get this event off the ground!
Thanks again to our judges online and on stage!
And a special thanks to Coverflow for being our afterparty entertainment!
