Install Live Chat Application on Google Sites
This blog will guide you on how to set up Banckle Chat on Google Sites. Google Sites is a free and easy to use platform to create and share webpages. Banckle Chat, an online customer support application, provides the option to interact with your website visitors and potential customers.
How to Integrate Banckle Chat on Google Sites:
The integration has two parts. a) Prepare Banckle Chat Widget Code; and b) Paste widget code in your Google Site’s template. Please check the following detailed integration steps.
a) Prepare Banckle Chat Widget Code:
- Log in to the Banckle Chat application.
- Click Settings and open Widgets.
- Click Default Widget or any other widget that you have created.
- Under Widget Code tab, select the Popup Widget option from the Widget Type drop-box.
- Save widget settings and copy the Banckle Chat widget code.
b) Google Sites integration:
- Log in to the Google Sites account and open your website.
- Click Edit Page(s) option on the top right hand side.
- Click <html> button to view HTML code of your website.
- In the HTML edit box, choose an appropriate location for your Banckle Chat widget icon and paste the Banckle Chat widget code.
- Save page settings.
Thats it Your Banckle Chat integration is complete now. In general, Google sites templates impose limitations that users can not embed Javascript from other sites, however above mentioned steps will ensure that you have a working live chat solution right on your website. This will open a pop-up when your visitors will click on the live chat icon.
