Super Bowl: Don't miss a tweet

From the players to the analysts, a list of who to follow on game day

If you aren't going to be overloaded with commentary from friends, family and announcers during the Super Bowl, then I say create a Twitter list of all the people you should follow during the big game Sunday.

Even with the kick-off starting at 3:30 p.m. P.S.T., it doesn't hurt to get the pre-game banter from those that understand the game the best. In the very least you can cross your finger for some uncensored slip-ups that Twitter is great in capturing.

And if you want all the Super Bowl buzz from the one billion+ people watching this year from TVs and mobile devices worldwide, then make sure to follow the hashtag #SuperBowl

Here is a list of who needs to be on your must-follow list:

(For the ease of following the Super Bowl, I have created a public Twitter list that anyone can follow here.)

First and foremost:

@SuperBowl2012 (Official Super Bowl 2012 handle)

And the teams:

@Patriots

@Giants

And the sports writers:

@JudyBattista (The New York Times)

@ShaliseMYoung (reporter for the Boston Globe)

@RapSheet (Boston Herald)

@GreggRosenthal (NBCSports.com)

@SI_PeterKing (Sports Illustrated)

@michaelombardi (NFL)

@TheBlueScreen (New York Daily)

@AdamSchefter (ESPN)

@BillBarnwell (Grantland.com)

@MikeGarafolo (New Jersey Star-Ledger)

The players:

@JustinTuckNYG91 (Giants' defensive end)

@EliManning10NYG (Giants' Quarter Back)

@WesWelker (Patriots' receiver)

@McCourtyTwins (Giants' Devin McCourty and his twin brother on the Tennessee Titans Jason McCourty)

Other informative tweeters:

@MikePereira (Former VP of Officiating the NFL and Fox analyst)

@GiantsPatHanlon (Giants VP of Communication)

Happy Super Bowl and happy tweeting.
