LongJump is an online web database application platform for creating and delivering apps for managing data, streamlining collaboration and reporting. This robust SaaS platform reduces the time and costs of delivering secure, database-driven applications, while providing extensive security, data analysis and visualization, and process automation - all on the web. The multitenant application platform can also be installed in a data center or private cloud computing service with custom branding or run as a platform-as-a-service PaaS from LongJump.com. Business users, solution providers and developers of all levels can quickly create relational, situational applications with complete user interfaces.
LongJump has been leading cloud application technologies since it burst on the scene in 2003 with one of the first multitenant SaaS platforms for creating business applications. That led to the Relationals CRM product line, still active today and serving the media industry's advertising sales efforts and involved in helping manage the sales force automation needs at over 40% of the country's newspapers.
The company launched the LongJump platform to take the highly customizable application suite and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) needs of enterprises of all types and verticals, and today serves over 600 companies and over 5,000 users.
In 2009, LongJump launched two major initiatives:
- It offered the robust SaaS platform to ISVs for whitelabeled and private cloud-ready installation to shorten time to market
- It launched a high-revenue potential MSP/VAR program to enable channel solution providers to brand and deliver their own SaaS offerings
Today, we feel, is the new era of Cloud Applications, where businesses of all types see the advantage of running parts or all of their business online or in a private cloud, unencumbered by hard infrastructure costs and maintenance.
LongJump is bootstrapped and has been profitable since 2005.
