No. 1 mistake: Thinking they don't know

Entrepreneurs embrace being at the forefront of change. And, just by being there, they take huge risks and make a difference.

They often live unstable lives. But as they courageously take steps out of their comfort zone, they'll make several mistakes which become valuable lessons for the rest of us. And, it's these creative and innovative daredevels who are making an impact on our world.

Vator's profiles have been specifically designed for innovators to express themselves by sharing their interests, lessons learned, as well as bits and pieces of their unique journey.

Today's entrepreneur is Kasha Ritter, founder of Yoga Mat Made LLC. According to his VEQ, Kasha is good at project development, technology design and product management.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Frustrating: there is no map to Moordor. Rewarding: I get to listen to all the voices inside my head.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?

Thinking they don't know.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. I do know.
2. Kindness MATters and lingers.
3. Ask nicely.

How do you prevent burn-out?

Gratitude! Not everyone is able/allowed the freedom to follow their dream. It's an honor to be able to do this.

What happens if your company doesn't "make it"?

Make what?
To follow your intention to help the world through your invention IS making it. The world is always a better place when someone has the courage to stand up, speak their creative mind, step forth with what they see as making a difference.

How do you handle regrets?

I hand them off.
Regrets are not to be handled or held onto but instead handed off to the you that once was but are no longer because of what you have now learned.

What do you do when your plans don't work out?

I work in.
Try to see the other side of the fabric. It's not necessarily bad when things don't follow your mental map. Be willing to see what is there as if it was a gift not an obstacle.
