I want to invent something cool.

Trying to get people to just look at your idea. Even when they like it, it is almost impossible to get them to buy it. But it is very rewarding when someone looks at your product and say "thats perfect, i need that". I want to fulfill a need people have, i don't want to just make pointless products.
Not hyping up my product before a launch. Another is not pricing around for prototyping. I should of done more research on a Prototyping company and not use just the ones i could find. I have been threw 4 Prototype companies and still looking for a better one.
Listen to everyone but dont absorb it all. Friends and family will love whatever you do, so make sure to get outside opinion.
Think about your cost before hand. I thought i would only spend a few grand on getting my company off the ground. Then i realized all the red tape.
IMPORTANT!! Find someone who has a business that you like and start talking with them. They will tell you things you never would of thought of.
