A match made in document viewing heaven!
Reports coming out from ReadwriteWeb
and also from Jason Bentley, Community Director of Scribd.com who im'ed
me about the news are saying that Lulu.com and Scribd.com are to
partner together to enable new oppurtunites for both companies.
Who are Lulu.com
Lulu.com
are a self publishing digital marketplace that allows content creator
(musicians, authors etc) to distribute their content via Lulu's
dedicated marketplace, custom storefronts and advanced listing and
distribution services. All in all are very open and exciting platform
(perhaps I will get them on for an interview at Technology Gazette one
time)

Who are Scribd.com
I had the pleasure to interview Jason Bentley of Scribd.com just recently on Technology Gazette,
the company is a document viewing platform run solely on Adobe's Flash
this software has enabled many big news companies such as Techcrunch to
display documents which are stored at Scribd and viewable directly in a
webpage.
For more information on Scribd head on over to:
https://www.scribd.com/about
The
positive pointer of the deal that Jason mentioned to me is that
Lulu.com will try Scribd with its Ebooks and also make use of the
Google Adsense program which runs directly in the documents, which is a
very exciting and unique way for content creators to earn money for
their work.
This test will be carried out over a 3 month period,
in which I think we will see the 17 million people of Scribd.com really
connect well with Lulu.com offering new avenues for content providers
to distribute their work in more beneficial ways. And also I hope we
see this happening the other way round with Lulu.com users using Scribd
as a secondary distribution method for their content!
I am very excited to also see the other developments coming from Lulu.com and Scribd, check their blogs at:
