In addition to graduating with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in 1991, Donald Sonn has also pursued academia throughout the course of his career. One of his more notable achievements was winning third prize at the Annual Academic Competition while completing his residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1995.
