After a nine-year career in law enforcement that included positions with the U.S. Coast Guard and the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Justin Krashefski chose to redirect his career to one of lower stress. While he enjoyed protecting and serving his country and community, during his time with the FLPD he saw many violent crimes and tense situations, and after four years decided it was time to do something different.
Another aspect of his law enforcement service that he enjoyed was the physical training. Both the USCG and FLPD encourage their members to maintain a high degree of physical fitness.
