One Kings Lane is taking flash sales to a glorious new level.  The company announced Thursday that it will now be offering an Estate Sale series, which will offer customers exclusive access to the personal collections of leading figures in the fashion and design world.

The first Estate Sale will debut this Saturday, November 5, and will items from the estate of decorator and fashion icon Chessy Rayner, who served as the fashion editor for Vogue from 1956 to 1964. She also wrote for Ladies Home Journal and Glamour, and later went on to co-found interior design company MAC II, which became famous for mixing high-end décor with inexpensive pieces.

Rayner died in 1998 and the sale will include items from her homes in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and St. Martin.

One Kings Lane is not disclosing any of the other Estate Sales it has lined up, nor how often it will be holding the events.

The Estate Sales series comes as an extension of One Kings Lane’s Tastemaker Tag Sales events, in which subscribers get access to unique items from the personal collections of top designers, such as Bunny Williams, Martyn Lawrence-Bullard, Michael Smith, and Nathan Turner.  The Tastemaker Tag Sales events are now adding a third day to the mix.  Formerly, they were only available on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but One Kings Lane is now extending them to Thursdays as well.

One Kings Lane launched the Tastemaker Tag Sales events back in 2009 and in the past year, the company has added a number of other sales initiatives and partnerships, including Container Sales and Movie Set Sales, as well as curated sales from movers and shakers like Alice Waters, Ina Garten, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Additionally, One Kings Lane announced a new Guest Curator Program, which invites top designers to share their favorite home design items and accessories.  The company is also gearing up to launch an Artists Edition Collection sales program, which will offer subscribers a chance to purchase exclusive products designed by heavy-hitters in the art, design, and fashion industries.

“We are committed to bringing new and innovative shopping experiences to the Tastemaker Tag Sale brand, by giving customers exclusive access to curated products, one-of-a-kind items and expert lifestyle tips, offering all customers what was once only available to the clients of interior designers,” said Andrea Stanford, GM of designer and vintage sales for One Kings Lane, in a statement.
