If you are an entrepreneur, why?
I’m an independent thinker and I like the freedom of being able to take any business idea or concept into the marketplace to see, if through proper execution of my business strategy, it will be successful.

Zynga, Facebook, Groupon, Skype

What’s most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?
The most frustrating thing is that things never move as quickly as you want them to. Everything needs to be done yesterday, but it is not until the day after tomorrow that things get done (usually). The most rewarding thing is validating your original hypothesis that a business idea/concept would work and seeing your goals met or exceeded, which is usually part of the validation

What’s the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?
They do not properly plan for the multitude of things that can and will go wrong from small things like support to large things like revamping the entire business model.

What are the top three lessons you’ve learned as an entrepreneur?
I’ve learned that my vision is not always the right vision and I need to be flexible and change if necessary. I’ve also learned that not everything can be done by me and a successful business must be run by many. In addition, I’ve learned that change is the only constant and that if you’re not able to adapt to change, you will not be successful.
