First polls, then prediction markets, now Tweets.

By the looks of this aggregation of Twitter feeds, it’s pretty clear who the Twitter audience is voting for.

At midnight, setfive Consulting launched its algorithms that parse the posts to Twitter to determine which were supporting Barack Obama or John McCain. As the states get darker red or blue, you can see which candidate is more likely to win the race.

At 7:30 pacific time, Setfive had recorded results from 2293 inputs. Results update every 10 seconds. So, by the time you read this, these colors may change.

But since the states have been getting bluer since I’ve been watching this page, I doubt they’ll be turning any shade of red anytime soon.
