In this second part of Bambi’s interview with Digital Chocolate founder Trip Hawkins, Trip talks about some of Digital Chocolate’s games, such as the Cafe games series and why one million downloads of a video game is a good benchmark for what constitutes a hit video game. Trip also talks about how he’s integrated Starbucks into some of Digital Chocolate’s games in the hopes of forming a partnership with Starbucks. In this interview, Trip offers insight into a commerce model around games as well as Digital Chocolate’s new subscription service as a new source of revenue.
