Mimi Chen is the first Asian American to work as a full-time Talk Radio host in an English format.  (KDBK, San Francisco). And so far, is still the only one to do so. A long time broadcaster, she has worked in the major markets of Philadelphia, San Francisco and Los Angeles (comparable to how baseball players work in major leagues).  She graduated from Princeton University and also has a masters from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.  She developed an interest in AI when she made friends with the son of a math professor and broke into the mainframes at Bowdoin College as a summer school student.
