I agree with the herding effect that takes place in angel networks but I slightly disagree on not being able to raise subsequent rounds from the same angels. Two friends of mine were able to secure follow-up rounds from the same investors. I think usually, if the company is doing well, then angels won't mind investing more despite the diversification policy that you mentioned. Vice versa, if the company is not doing well, then of course, they won't reinvest.

Yeah! At least if the music was nice!! How annoying. I give them a big "F" for their marketing and positioning. I also noticed that thay are running in second place in one of the competitions. Doesn't seem to me like the voting process is any credible because I can't possibly see how anyone would vote for them.
