Feedback and testimonials

Edu20.org has found 14 volunteers to translate the educational site into the top eight European languages, including Italian, French, German, Spanish and others. Why are people doing this? According to Graham, the translation process is relatively easy. More importantly, just like the volunteers to the Wikipedia project, the Edu20.org volunteers find satisfaction in collaborating around a good cause that helps the community. Graham's Edu20.org is free, after all. There is nothing that provides more incentive than someone giving his time for free to benefit others.

Congratulations on going live! There seems to be a world of opportunity hidden behind a remarkably easy-to-use web interface, and the combination of the teaching, learning and social networking aspects of the education process appear to be a great way to not only simplify but actually improve the availability and quality of education. Kudos for posting updates to your original pitch rather than assuming that a post-once-and-forget approach will get the word out. "Free" for both educators and students sounds fantastic but it does beg the question what the business model looks like; some detail on this in your pitch profile would be helpful.
